Savitri Gopaul, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at Commonwealth Pain Management and Wellness in Richmond, Virginia. She takes a holistic approach to treating pain, other musculoskeletal issues, and mental health conditions.

Ms. Gopaul completed her nursing degree at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Nursing in Richmond. She graduated summa cum laude.

Ms. Gopaul earned her graduate degree in nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri, graduating cum laude. She maintains her advanced credentials with continuing education. Ms. Gopaul strives to stay current in the latest wellness and pain management advances. 

She has over 15 years of experience in healthcare management and clinical practice with a focus in pain medicine. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Pain Medicine and has completed training in various pain management modalities. Ms. Gopaul is a co-author of  “Acute Pain Management Essentials: An Interdisciplinary Approach,” published in 2022.

 Ms. Gopaul enjoys caring for her patients and helping them maintain exceptional physical and mental health. She uses conservative treatments along with alternative modalities to help people avoid addictive pain medicine or invasive surgery whenever possible.

Ms. Gopaul enjoys spending time with her friends and family in her free time. She compassionately welcomes patients to Commonwealth Pain Management and Wellness and looks forward to improving their quality of life.
